Alongside business partner Kristin Furtney, I co-founded the Zephyr Cafe, transforming a spontaneous idea into an iconic community hub.

It was the first restaurant in the area dedicated to a whole foods menu, featuring in-house preparation, extensive vegan and gluten-free options, and locally sourced organic ingredients.

Beyond its culinary offerings, the Zephyr became a central gathering place for a community in transition, fostering connections and contributing to the cultural evolution of Squamish.

The enduring success of Zephyr, remaining a beloved local institution over a decade after its sale in 2013, is one of my proudest achievements and testament to my entrepreneurial style, love of food, community engagement, and expertise in branding, marketing, and strategy.
